Frequently asked questions

Will animations and transitions be preserved?
No. PDF is a static format. Animations and transitions are not supported. Each slide becomes a static page showing the final visible state of that slide.
Are embedded videos included?
Videos cannot be embedded in a standard PDF. Slides with embedded video will show the video thumbnail or a placeholder.
Is the text selectable in the converted PDF?
Yes. Text from your PowerPoint slides is preserved as selectable, searchable text in the output PDF.
Can I convert a password-protected PowerPoint?
You need to remove the PowerPoint password before converting. Open it in PowerPoint, remove the protection, save, then upload for conversion.
What happens to speaker notes?
Speaker notes are not included in the standard slide PDF output. The conversion renders the slide content only.
Is the slide aspect ratio preserved?
